The Dancing Little Dog
Have you ever wondered how does a seesaw work? It seems to stay like in equilibrium, but it takes just a kid to unbalance it and fall on one side.
The seesaw is like an overturned dancing little dog: the barycentre is above the point of support, a small loss of balance towards one side is sufficient to move the barycentre out of the point of support and therefore to make the seesaw incline.
The little dog is a good traffic indicator: it just needs small vibrations and its head starts swinging.
