How to see quarks inside a proton ?

We found just two of many, many papers on this subject:

[1] Deep-Inelastic Electron Scattering and the Quark Structure of 3He

Hans J. Pirner and James P. Vary*
Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Heidelberg, D-6900 Heidelberg, Federal Republic of Germany
Phys. Rev. Lett. 46, 1376-1379 (1981)

They say that:
A nucleon-bag (three-quark-cluster)

with 0.45x10-15m radius is the best description of the experiment [2]

[2] Inclusive Electron Scattering from 3He

D. Day and J. S. McCarthy
University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia 22901
I. Sick
Universität Basel, Basel, Switzerland
R. G. Arnold, B. T. Chertok, S. Rock, and Z. M. Szalata
American University, Washington, D. C. 20016
F. Martin
Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, Stanford, California 94305
B. A. Mecking
Universität Bonn, Bonn, Germany
G. Tamas
Centre d'Etudes Nucléaires de Saclay, Gif-sur-Yvette, France
Phys. Rev. Lett. 43, 1143-1146 (1979)

At Stanford Linear Accelerator Centre electron with energies from 3 to 15 GeV were scattered on helium 3He nuclei.
