Quarks create structures containing three (=barions) or two (=mesons)
quarks.
The only stable (almost for sure) structure among barions is proton build with two most light quarks (u)
and one slightly heavier (d).
All mesons are unstable. Most lighter of them, pions are carriers of strong interaction between protons and neutrons, which create nuclei.
In table below are shown some hadrons, beginning from ones built with only first quark family (u and d), through ones consisting heavier quarks (s, c), up to most heavier quarks (b i t).
There are given only "particles" differing in quark content, i.e. "particles" like hyperion L, for which "quark content" is identical like to proton, and differs only with a mass, are not given, see "Proton & Co.".
